To ensure no one misses out on allied health, we take pride in servicing areas that other therapists do not go to. We provide allied health services in the Atherton region including Malanda, Yungaburra, Eacham, Tinaroo, Ravenshoe, Dimbulah, and Mareeba. We also have other teams who work in Gordonvale, Cairns and Innisfail.

At Allied Aged Care, we pride ourselves on being part of the Atherton region’s community. Our physiotherapists and occupational therapists all live locally and are active members of the region. We are advocates for the role of physiotherapy and occupational therapy to help improve quality of life, especially in older people and those with disabilities.

We see clients in their homes, in retirement and residential aged care facilities and use the heated pool at the heated Atherton and Malanda swimming pool for hydrotherapy.

Allied Aged Care provides a range of physiotherapy services in nursing homes, client’s homes, pools and gyms, as well as telehealth appointments. We deliver the best service possible through our experienced physiotherapists. Our physiotherapy is specialized in hands-on treatment, is evidence-based and has been developed with a client-centered approach.

Our Occupational Therapists are experienced in handling pediatric conditions, disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and aged care clients. We also offer telehealth consultations for OT.

Allied Aged Care is a certified NDIS provider in the Atherton region. We examine various aspects of NDIS which also includes assistance in the preparation of plans. Please contact us to find out more.

Allied Aged Care is a registered provider of Workcover QLD (Worksafe QLD) and similar insurers for work-related injuries that need treatment under Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. We can see injured workers in the Atherton Tablelands at home, or in pools/gyms to help them return to work safely.

We are a registered service provider with the DVA through Human Services Australia, which grants physiotherapy and occupational therapy services to DVA cardholders with a doctor’s referral. We can see eligible veterans at their home or in pools and gyms in the Atherton region. Contact us to find out more.

Clients that are referred by their doctors under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously, Enhanced Primary Care Scheme) can obtain a rebate from Medicare for their treatment. No gap for telehealth. We quote on travel and time to see clients under CDM in their home or pool/gym (see pricing below).

If you are in the Atherton region and covered for allied health under your private health fund plan, you can easily claim a rebate for your treatment by our Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. All our Atherton allied health professionals are equipped with provider numbers.
