Blue Ribbon Physiotherapy Pty Ltd trading as Allied Aged Care is a Queensland-based team of dynamic and highly skilled allied health professionals. Despite our name we DON'T just look after aged care clients, we have a practice where we are can provide allied health help to everyone and are part of a community.

We are passionate advocates for doing it better in allied health and aged care. We set high standards of evidence-based treatment to achieve the best possible functional outcomes with all of our clients.

Our therapists regularly attend industry leading training and we work closely on Research and development to continue to do what we do better.


We are strong supporters of many charities our communities and we also give back with probono therapy. Our key values are caring, integrity and growing as professionals and as an organisation.

Alwyn is the founder of Allied Aged Care and has been a leader in the business and practice of allied health since 2000. He is deeply passionate about continually improving the quality and scope of aged and community care. He is always seeking to create positive change in people's lives and show what is possible in aged care and regional and remote areas especially.

Carol is a mental health qualified OT

who specialises in geriatric care, paediatrics and community OT. Carol is a passionate advocate for mental health, the role of OTs in improving function, and helping regional and rural areas with better health services.
